This bird and his brother came from a sweet woman in Boulder. She gave them to me for free along with several other chickens. This is one of two Japanese Bantam roosters that I got just a day after signing the lease. The other bird is vitually identical. They live just fine in the same temporary cage together. I'm hoping to get a couple hens for breeding. "Banty" roosters are very vocal and can be somewhat aggressive. These two guys are hand tame.
