Storm watching

There was another great day to watch the storms build up over Pike's Peak and fall out onto the Front Range and plains. I was traveling from the livestock auction at noon and noticed the first clouds building to the west.

By 2pm they'd developed more ...
By 4pm the storm was really begining to show itself.
By 6pm Colorado Springs was being hit with dime sized hail and heavy rain.

This storm eventually spilt to the north and to the south and sadly missed the farm all together. Once darkness hit the heavy clouds to the south west was being illuminated by lightning every few seconds.
